Thanks Tanley. I've already counted the cogs on the timing belt and they were correct. I will confirm the leaks again this week although at this point I think it is pretty pointless... :(
A followup question: What should I expect the cylinder pressure to be on a rebuilt engine (after having passed the break-in period)? Should I be expecting the values to be around 174psi (as in a normal VGE30TT engine)?
